Mission Log 033126 – Colonize Duna
Duna is rapidly becoming a high-interest destination for scientific research and civilian tourism. Early infrastructure must be established now to support long-range expansion.
Mission Brief
Duna is rapidly becoming a high-interest destination for both scientific research and civilian tourism. To support this growing demand, War Servers Command is initiating early-stage planetary development and infrastructure deployment.
Primary objective: conduct a full orbital resource survey of Duna, establish a functional surface base to support refueling operations, and deploy a dedicated space station in a 100km equatorial orbit to serve as a communications relay and staging point for future expeditions.
This operation marks the formal beginning of long-term colonization efforts on Duna. Precision, efficiency, and sustainability will be critical to mission success.
Recommended focus areas include power stability, ore mapping, relay coverage, docking reliability, and fuel logistics for follow-up crews.
Operational Objectives
- Complete a full orbital scan of Duna for resource identification.
- Land and establish a working surface base for refueling and support operations.
- Deploy a space station into a 100km equatorial orbit.
- Ensure the station can function as both relay hub and staging point for later missions.
Command Notes
- First successful crews will shape the standard for all later off-world expansion.
- Reusable logistics and clean docking architecture are strongly encouraged.
