In an effort to reduce memory usage, improve server performance, and keep our ARK maps running smoothly, we will be implementing a 15× structure decay timer across all servers.

This change will help clean up abandoned bases and structures from inactive players while still giving everyone plenty of time to return to their builds.

New Structure Decay Timers:
Thatch: 60 days (2 months)
Wood / Adobe: 120 days (4 months)
Stone: 180 days (6 months)
Metal: 240 days (8 months)
Tek: 300 days (10 months)

These timers are intended to give active players more than enough time to maintain their bases while gradually clearing out abandoned structures that consume server resources.

Our goal is to improve long-term server stability without negatively affecting our active community.

Fear Ascended is now live across the War Servers cluster, bringing Halloween-themed creatures, spooky event colors, eerie encounters, and seasonal surprises to the maps. Jump in with your tribe, hunt down the event content, and enjoy the Halloween chaos while Fear Ascended is active!

Bjarnheim is going live on War Servers! Because this is an unofficial map and there is still limited information about its creatures, resources, and progression, all dinosaur and item transfers both on and off the map are currently disabled. This restriction is in place to protect the balance of the cluster while we learn more about what Bjarnheim offers. As with other unofficial maps, Bjarnheim may eventually be rotated out of the cluster. For now, we will monitor the map, gather feedback, and adjust as needed.

Warning: Transferring your character off Bjarnheim may be difficult at first. We strongly recommend unlocking the Tek Transmitter engram before transferring to the map so you have a reliable way to leave.

The War Servers trivia feature is live! Answer in-game with /t, earn 1 point per correct answer, and save 5 points to claim a custom color region on any tamed dino. Watch the leaderboard to see who comes out on top.

Summer Bash is now live on War Servers, bringing the beach-party chaos, bright event colors, festive cosmetics, and summer-themed fun to the cluster. Get out there, hunt those event colors, show off your best summer builds, and enjoy the seasonal event across the servers. The event is being applied now, so jump in and start celebrating.

Genesis 1 has officially arrived on the War Servers, opening a fresh start inside the simulation with new biomes, missions, and creatures. With dino and item transfers disabled, everyone will be building up from the ground and earning their place on the map. Take on the mission grind, push for better times, and compete against other survivors on the Genesis mission leaderboards as the cluster expands into its next chapter.

Alpha King Titan dies on War Servers this Saturday, June 20th at 10 PM CST, We will be hosting one of the biggest boss fights on the cluster on Extinction. Everyone is invited to join the battle—come early if you want to help with the normal Titan kills before the main event begins. Get your gear ready, prep your dinos, and make sure your tribe is prepared!

The ARK Birthday Bash is now live across the War Servers cluster, bringing festive event colors, birthday decorations, and special surprises to every map. Jump in, celebrate with your tribe, and enjoy the party while the event is active!

Eggcellent Ascended arrives across the cluster on March 29th, bringing vibrant event colors, seasonal crafts, and festive surprises to every map. Get ready to hunt unique dinos and enjoy the event—make sure your tribe is prepared! Note: Astraeos transfers will open with this update.

Survivors can now travel to a brand-new environment filled with breathtaking landscapes, ancient structures, and endless opportunities to explore, build, and create together. Astraeos joins the War Servers as a PvE map with item and dino transfers disabled, offering a fresh start and a new world to experience from the ground up.
